About the stock exchange
Location: Valetta, Malta
  • The Malta Stock Exchange is a fully-fledged regulated market which has successfully fulfilled its role as an effective venue to raise capital finance since 1992. The Malta Stock Exchange provides a structure for admission of financial instruments to its recognised lists which fall under a regulated framework that allows passporting within the EU. These instruments may subsequently be traded on its transparent and orderly secondary marketplace, which enjoys the use of the Xetra trading platform that is hosted in Frankfurt by Deutsche Bourse. Located in a well-regulated, cost-efficient and reputable jurisdiction, the Malta Stock Exchange also offers a comprehensive range of Central Securities Depository services and custodial services, as well as facilitating EMIR related reporting to a Trade Repository. Source
